Your baby's first few weeks are a whirlwind of cuddles, sleepy snuggles, tiny fingers and toes — and before you know it, they've changed again.

My newborn sessions are all about slowing things down and capturing those little details you'll want to remember forever.

Based at my relaxed studio in Trentham Lakes, Staffordshire, I'll make sure you and your baby feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.

RELAXED, BABY-LED NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY

Having a newborn photographed can feel like a big thing, especially if this is your first baby. Don't worry — you don't need to know what to do or how to pose.

I'll guide you throughout the session and, most importantly, we work around your baby.

Need a feed? No problem.

Need a cuddle? Of course.

Need a little break? We've got plenty of time.

There's never any need to rush. My sessions are up to 2 hours, giving us plenty of time for feeding, changing, settling and those all-important cuddles.

And yes... the kettle is always on!

EVERY BABY IS DIFFERENT

Some babies sleep through the whole session. Some want lots of cuddles. Some decide that being photographed is absolutely not on their agenda! And that's completely okay.

I'll never rush you or your baby just to get the “perfect” photograph. We'll take our time, follow their cues and make sure everyone is comfortable.

My aim is for you to leave the studio feeling relaxed, knowing we've captured beautiful photographs of this incredibly fleeting stage.

Plenty of time for your baby to settle, feed and have cuddles without feeling rushed.

PROPS & SWADDLES PROVIDED

I have a selection of beautiful wraps, outfits, headbands, hats, teddies and accessories ready for you to use during your session.

There's no need to panic about finding the perfect outfit beforehand.

FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHS

Your newborn session isn't just about your baby.

Parents, siblings and even grandparents are welcome to join in, so we can capture those precious family connections too.

PERSONAL DETAILS

If there's something special you'd like included — perhaps a teddy, blanket or keepsake — you're more than welcome to bring it along.

These little personal touches can make your photographs even more meaningful.

LUXURY 12x8 PRINT

Your session fee includes a beautiful luxury 12x8 print of your choice.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOUR SESSION?

Once your photographs are ready, I'll send you an online gallery to view your images in the comfort of your own home.

This is where you'll get to see your photographs properly and choose any additional images, prints or wall-art.

Your photographs deserve to be more than something that sits on your phone.

PRICES

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?

I recommend booking your newborn session after your 20-week scan, ideally reserving a date around a week after your due date.

Don't worry if your little one decides to arrive earlier or later than expected — we can easily rearrange your session to suit.

The important thing is that you don't need to know your baby's exact arrival date to book.

Newborn photographs are traditionally taken when babies are around 5–21 days old, when they're often sleepier and more settled.

But don't panic if your baby is older than this.

If your little one has already arrived and you're past the three-week mark, please still get in touch. We can absolutely create beautiful photographs — every baby is different, and there is no “perfect” deadline.

A £30 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment, with the deposit deducted from your session fee.
